The Basics of Quantum Physics and the Law of Attraction
If the words “quantum physics” are enough to cause the wirings of your brain to short circuit and make your hair curl like Albert Einstein’s, "Don’t worry; we will not attempt to go into the complexity of the Quantum Physics theory nor discuss the convoluted equations relevant to it.
What we are after here is just the basics of Quantum Physics and how this theory offers insight into the proper mind frame for putting up a business and/or creating abundance in life."

Whoa. You’re probably thinking, “Isn’t that a stretch? How could Quantum Physics have anything to do with putting up a business?” Everything.
You see, the basics of Quantum Physics helps explain the Secret Law of Attraction or having a positive and passive income mind frame to manifest or attract what your heart (and pocket) desires.
Now, it would be really great for our ego to claim that we were the first one to offer a connection between Quantum Physics and the Laws of Attraction, but no. That correlation had been established long ago, and even discussed in many books and films such as “What the Bleep Do We Know” and “The Secret.”
Before we delve further into the Law of Attraction, let’s discuss the basics of Quantum Psychics...
The Basics of Quantum Physics
The word “quantum” is derived from Latin which means “how great” or “how much.” Quantum Physics is also called quantum mechanics or wave mechanics. This theory describes the behaviour of atoms and electrons (very small objects).
Niels Bohr, a Danish physicist, did much of the initial work to explain how particles behave in the quantum level. Unlike larger objects, particles behave in a rather unpredictable way. For example, we see a golf ball. We know exactly where it is and we can see whether it is rolling to the left or the right. We cannot say the same way with particles; they are rather unpredictable.

To further explain the basics of Quantum Physics, let’s look at the most notable experiments that were done to explore this unpredictability of particles.
- The double slit experiment.
This was made possible by allowing light to pass through one or two slits in an opaque screen. By splitting a single source into two to create two sources, the experiment revealed the particle-wave duality of light; sometimes it behaves like a wave, at other times it behaves like a particle. This duality of roles depend on the situation—whether the electron is interacting with the wall or with the slits.
- Schrödinger's 'Cat-in-the-Box Experiment'.
An experiment of putting a cat (don’t worry, cat lovers; this experiment never actually happened) in a sealed room with a container of poisonous gas, and an electron detector. If the electron detector detects an electron inside the room, it will trigger the poisonous gas to be released; hence, killing the cat. If the electron is not detected, however, the poisonous gas container will remained sealed; thus, sparing the life of the cat.
The interpretation drawn from the experiment is that, before one enters the room to look, there is a 50-50 probability that the cat is either dead or alive, and it is only upon investigation that the person becomes 100 percent sure that the cat is alive, or 100 percent sure that it is dead. It is the observer that determines that reality.
- The EPR Paradox. Another experiment worth mentioning to help explain the basics of Quantum Physics is this one which revealed that particles can travel at faster than light speed and can “communicate” to each other even at great distances. This is the experiment that most upsets Einstein’s Theory of Relativity that assumes that nothing travels faster than light.
So there, the basics of Quantum Physics. But how do we relate this concept to the Law of Attraction?
Implications of the Basics of Quantum Physics to the Laws of Attraction
Quantum Physics shakes our belief of what constitutes reality—that it is only true for the observer. It tells us that events are governed by probabilities, not by one’s sense of reality.
American theoretical physicist John Wheeler (known for having coined the term “black hole”) offered an interesting argument that it is in fact possible that the universe only exists because we think that it does.
“We are participators in bringing into being not only the near and here but the far away and long ago.
We are in this sense, participators in bringing about something of the universe in the distant past and if we have one explanation for what's happening in the distant past, why should we need more?” Wheeler said.
Reacting to Wheeler’s theory, newspaper columnist Martin Redfern offered the following assumption that further explains the relationship between Quantum Physics and the Law of Attraction:
“Many don't agree with John Wheeler, but if he's right then we, and presumably other conscious observers throughout the universe, are the creators — or at least the minds that make the universe manifest,” Wheeler explained.
Scientific Evidence of the Laws of Attraction
The theory that we are in fact able to influence events as discussed in the basics of Quantum Physics above is further supported by the work of Japanese scientist Dr. Masaru Emoto who produced startling photographic evidence of how our consciousness is able to shape events.
Dr. Emoto’s photographs, published in the book “The Message from Water,” showed how human vibrations and thoughts, words, music, and environmental conditions like pollution affect the molecular structure of water. The significance of Dr. Emoto’s findings is highlighted by the fact that human beings are made of up 60 to 70 percent water.
His photographs revealed that water from mountain streams and springs produced beautiful geometric crystalline patterns, while polluted water showed ugly shaped crystalline structures. Words such as “thank you,” “love and appreciation,” “Mother Theresa,” and “Adolf Hitler” were encoded on separate pieces of paper and taped on glass bottles overnight.
When frozen and photographed, the water exposed to “Mother Theresa” and other positive words produced lovely crystalline patterns that shone like diamonds, while the water exposed to Adolf Hitler’s name showed a reddish brown image with black formations.

We are Co-Creators of Our Own Destiny
What we can glean from the basics of Quantum Physics that we presented and the Laws of Attraction is that more than just passive observers or puppets on a string (as what some pessimist view life) we are in fact co-creators of our own lives. Our thoughts have magnetic vibrations that attract similar energy, and that by projecting positive thoughts into the cosmos, we help manifest positive things to happen in our lives.
That is how reality works in Quantum Physics, and that is how our own reality should be.
