Teens Make Money OnlineThe Whateverlife.com Story "Teens Make Money Online!" If you've never heard of Whateverlife.com, a site developed by Ashley Qualls, it is a testament to how teens make money online. Her site, WhateverLife, attracts more than 7 million visitors and 60 million page views a month. For those of you that are unfamiliar with what those numbers mean, whateverlife.com ranks right alongside the sites like AmericanIdol.com, oprah.com, and cbs.com - that's big times folks. Just imagine Ashley on her megaphone shouting to all her peers wondering how they will afford to go to college, "Teens Make Money Online!"
Whateverlife was created kind of by accident by the teen phenom, Ashely. She first started by borrowing $8.00 from her Mom to register her domain name - this, by the way, was the extent of the money she has ever paid for advertising. Whateverlife.com made its way to the world wide web in 2004, and was initially a way for Ashley to show off her cool designs. As talented as she was (especially for her age) her site received almost no visitors except for her teenage friends. Several months later though, she figured out how to customize MySpace pages for user profiles. After that, a flurry of friends, and friends of friends began asking Ashley to design their profiles on MySpace. Then, in 2005, her site took off. She began posting several pre-made design layouts and offered them for free to anyone that was interested. Well, there were a lot of people interested-especially teens. As traffic grew on Whateverlife.com, Ashley become the amazed recipient to doors opening up to her-doors leading to passive income flowing in. She started posting Google Adsense Ads on her site, and the first month she received her first paycheck of $2,790.00. Not bad, for doing something that she loved doing. Again, picture Ashley, as you are looking toward taking an adventurous trip to Europe before you start college, "Teens Make Money Online!" Typical Teenager or Bill Gates in Disguise?Ahley Qualls was a typical nerdy teenager. Even today, as a successful entrepreneur, she would claim to be typical...from we stand she's pretty incredible, but part of how great her success story is...is the fact that she has remained the same down-to-earth young girl (still shops at Target), hanging out with her friends, and doing what she loves to do. The only difference now is that she normally reels in about 70K a month. And she does go on about her quest to find good free lance developers, virtual assistants jobs , and maintaining a low overhead.
She smiled when she heard it come out of her mouth, almost like it was meant to be. And the name just stuck. It made her reflective, like the thoughtful teenager, she related ,"whatever life you lead." Ashley's life did take a different turn from her peers when she opted to drop out of high school when she turned 16. By this time she caught the entrepreneurial, online business bug, and she was hooked. She had an undeniable belief in the chant, "Teens, Make Money Online!" Well, alot of other teenagers (and older than teenage people) are hooked too. With over 50 million websites on the world wide web, whateverlife.com ranks as around 10,000 (Alexa) - not too shabby, for a young girl working out of her basement in her home in Southgate, Detroit. Ashley bought the home from the passive profits of whateverlife.com, and she lives there with her Mom, sister, 3 cats, 2 turtles, rottweiller, hamster, and her 1 fish. Ashley's basement office is decorated with splashes of pink and lots of hearts. Her work space reflects her youthful and colorful personality...and so does her website. And although she is 17 now (as of 2008), and growing out of her teenage years, she plans on remaining loyal to her teenage audience, providing them with what they want. Ashley does her research to stay in touch with the preferences of teens, conducting surveys and polls and paying special attention to emails. This young girl understands the marketing end of knowing your customer - seems like it was just something she inherently had from a young age. Her keen sense of what her audience likes is just one reason why whateverlife.com is such a phenomenal success. Without even being aware of it, Ashley understood that when you give something of value, just because you know others will benefit, the Universe will find a way to reward you. Believe, "Teens, Make Money Online!", and you can, and you will.
Her Success Can Be Your SuccessThis message for success goes to anyone - whether you are a teenager dealing with agonizing acne, an adult going through a mid-life crisis or you are one step away from retiring to Sun City - what you give, you get back...many times over. It's called the Universal Law of Attraction, and it works, whether you believe it or not. It is a scientific law of physics, operating on autopilot. And just as you breathe in and out, the Law of Attraction operates by giving when we give. Check out the Abraham Hicks page to find out more. So, if you are thinking, "Yeah, that's great about this Ashley chick making millions, but it will never happen to me!"...Well, you're right. If you think it can't happen, it won't. The first step to any kind of success, even if it's winning a high school basketball game, is believing that you can win. If you are young, it will be easier, because you can begin to feed yourself positive thoughts now, and roll your eyes at any unkind comments from uncool others.
