What we do...
It happens at least two or three times a week. Someone asks me “So, what do you do for a living?” I’m not one of those people that have a canned “elevator pitch” all ready to spout off to anyone that asks me this question. To me, there is something unsavory about doing that. And it could be that I have such a non-typical profession, that I’m just slightly uncomfortable explaining my job – or better put, my lack of a job. Now don’t get me wrong, I do work – very hard in fact, but I certainly don’t do the same thing everyday, or answer to anybody. That is except my beautiful wife Kim and that is completely voluntary.
Having been an entrepreneur, both unsuccessful, as well as very successful, there is little gray area here – you are either doing what you want to do and making the kind of money you want to make –or you aren’t – simple as that. For us, and those that utilize our services, we have chosen to use the Internet as our means for bringing in the proverbial bacon, and have chosen not to take up full-time employment with a tipical brick and mortar company. Is following this path an easy way to make money – you may ask? Hell no! Whoever tells you that making money on the web is a piece of cake – run! You have just encountered one of the kazillions of snake oil salesmen that will never produce any results for you. But that doesn’t mean that there isn’t money to be made. It’s like any other successful thing you do in life – you have to put in the right formula of passion, dedication and learning all the right steps that lead to success. A part of me thinks that just about everything breaks down to mathematics. Even the Internet is a formula of sorts and comprised of countless of smaller mathematical formulas. With that said, there are logical answers to formulas. Google is a massive company; in some ways this company has defined what the business playing field will look like for the next unknown amount of years. Ignoring or trying to outsmart Google (at least to us) is a waste of time and money. What we do, for ourselves as well as our clients, is give them (Google) exactly what they want. How we build high-traffic high-revenue websites is done by supplying Google all the right indicators for them to acknowledge that “this” site is deserving of only their highest rankings and status. To make this happen our clients are provided hundreds of searched on content pages, all intricately optimized with just the right keyword phrases to get Google’s fickle attention. Then we build an e-commerce platform using the latest PHP MySQL backbone – such as Magento – and this allows our customers be up and running, selling products and making money in a fraction of the time it would take them to do all this on their own.
